A collaboration with the artist Agata Ingarden on sculptures for a public art commission at the premises of the Dutch Immigration and Naturalisation Service (IND) in Ter Apel.
My task was to develop lighting solutions that would show off the sculptures and bring out their form, materials and artistic character.
The collaboration covered lighting consultations, the choice of luminaires and their technical parameters, as well as coordinating the orders and delivering the lighting.
In artistic projects light plays a special role. Well chosen, it can bring out the texture, depth and spatial quality of a work without competing with its form.
